The app has moved to its own address. Your sessions, scores and ritual history are still here, in this browser — they are not lost, but the app can no longer see them from where it now lives.
Nothing is uploaded. Your answers move directly from this page to the app, inside your own browser.
A working instrument, not a course
Saying no protects what you have. Owning the road is how you build. Most people are taught the first line and never told there is a second one. Both are true — only one compounds.
| Position | What happened |
|---|---|
| The miners | Most went broke. Took all the risk, dug all the dirt, went home with nothing. |
| The shovel seller | Sold to every miner, win or lose. Paid on the way in and on the way out. |
| Whoever owned the road | Everyone had to pass through. Never touched a shovel, never left home. |
Decided by position, not effort.
Gate 1 · the floor
Ownership without control is a receipt, not a possession. Your deposit is a loan to your bank, and the bank alone decides what new money to create and for whom. Your broker votes your stock. Your custodian votes your coin. Nobody confiscated anything — every owner handed it over, for convenience.
Surrender does not feel like surrender. It feels like convenience.
You pass when every answer is yes. Answer honestly — this runs entirely in your browser and is not recorded, sent, or seen by anyone.
Not startedAnswer all five to see where your floor actually is.
Nobody passes all five the first time. That is the point of a check. The two failures the doctrine treats as most dangerous are not the low scores — they are the climb with no floor: borrowing against what you hold, and letting an intermediary vote it, while telling yourself you own it.
What $10 a month buys
The Toll Booth app walks you through both modules in order, keeps every answer on your device, and hands you a markdown export you can read, file, or give to your heir.
Four questions that surface the part of your setup that is load-bearing, delegated, silent, and pays nobody to watch it. Diagnose before you climb.
The five questions above, kept, scored, and re-runnable. Corrected wording — the original deck asked two of them backwards.
Four questions on anything you own or are about to buy. Four yes is a booth. Three or fewer is a job with better hours.
Five rungs from $50 to a bought business, in order, with the entry cost of each. Rung one is the floor. Do not jump.
Raise an heir who can say no to you. If you are the only one in the family who can tell right from wrong in money, the family has one point of failure.
Three questions to run on anyone selling you a method — including this one. A scale that reads 180 pounds for everybody is broken, even when it is right about you.
One question a week, five scoring boxes, thirty seconds. A low week tells you which layer went untouched — not just that you drifted.
Four moves across twelve weeks, ending in the one that counts: teach one person in your house. If you cannot teach it, you do not have it.
Gate 2 · the climb
When something gets fenced in, the fence itself becomes a business — and the fence is for sale. Holding protects you and makes nothing. Owning pays you, whether the person paying wins or loses, likes you or not.
Run this on me first
If someone's method always gives the same answer, it is not a method. It is an opinion in a lab coat. The app ships these three questions as a screen you run on anyone selling you something. The doctrine's own instruction is to run them here first:
| Question | The tell |
|---|---|
| Were they there, or did they hear about it? | What someone saw with their own eyes is worth ten times what they read. Both come out of the mouth in the same voice. |
| Has their method ever changed their mind? | Ask for one time the evidence surprised them. No example, no method. |
| Do they live the advice they sell? | Not "are they rich." Did the thing they tell you to do make them rich — or was it something else? |
An answer to the second one, on the record: the Gate 1 Check shipped with two of its five questions worded backwards, so an honest yes — "my house is pledged," "my broker votes for me" — scored as a pass. Someone with no floor would have been told they held one and cleared to climb. It was found, corrected, and the correction is documented in the doctrine file rather than quietly patched. The instrument was wrong; the fix is the evidence that the method has teeth.

Already know the decision is the bottleneck?
The Toll Booth tells you which layer you left untouched. Most weeks that is enough. Some weeks the layer stays untouched because there is a decision underneath it you have been carrying for a month — and an audit cannot resolve a decision.
The Sovereign 7 is the instrument for that: one live decision, one sitting, about thirty minutes. It includes the Toll Booth Method and the weekly Ritual in full.

Questions
ThriveCart takes the payment and hands off to ProductDyno, which creates your member account and emails your login. Inside the portal there is a single launch button that opens the app. Takes under a minute.
Nowhere. The app has no server and no account. Everything you write is stored by your own browser on your own device, and there is no network call that could send it anywhere. That is why the export matters — it is the only copy that survives you clearing your browser.
You can open it on both, but your answers do not follow you — they live in whichever browser you wrote them in. Pick the device you will actually sit with and stay on it. Export the markdown to move a session anywhere else.
Access ends at the close of the billing period you have already paid for. Everything you have written stays on your device — it was never held on our side, so there is nothing to take away. Export before you go and you keep the whole record.
Same doctrine, different form. The room got the teaching once. This is the instrument you run repeatedly — the checks, the scoring, the weekly ritual, and the 90 day install — with the Gate 1 wording corrected.
No catch, and no upsell wired into the app. It is priced to be run monthly for years rather than bought once and abandoned, because the Ritual is the part that compounds and it only works if you are still here in month twenty.
Refusal was never the strategy. It was the endpoint the strategy funded.
Hold what you own. Then own what others must use. In that order — and teach both halves.
